ABOUT US
Founded by Boya Chetty in 1978, we started as a community based seafood wholesaler in Port Elizabeth, operating as Chetty's Fisheries. It wasn't until 2001 that the name Mayibuye Fishing was adopted and soon after acquired several subsidiary companies.
In 2004 the vessel ELKE M was purchased and started operating out of Port Elizabeth harbour.
Mayibuye Fishing is a Level 1 BEE company.
